Testimony from Deaconess Zoe Twininge

My name is Deaconess Zoe Twininge. I would like to share my testimony of how I came to the Godlife church. In mid-2011, I was introduced to Pastor Mwangala by a mutual friend of ours via Facebook because of our passion for Christ, and after realizing we both were affiliated with the same ministry, the bond was even deeper. She told me about the Godlife Church and how they had a group on Facebook as well and asked if I could join it. I agreed and I noticed that there were a number of brethren [n the group who commented on the rhapsody posts that were shared every other day. When I logged on the next day, I realized no rhapsody post was shared so I shared it on the group. The day that followed the same thing. That went on for about a week until Pastor inboxed me and asked that I continue to do so. I was so honored and accepted the responsibility. By the end of 2011, I was acquainted with a number of the brethren through the Facebook page, and relating with them was such an honour. In 2012, I had to make a decision about where I was going to go to school, and having listened to the message “The Three Types of God’s Will” by the Man of God; Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, I wanted the perfect will of God even in that decision. My greatest concern was being in a university where I could serve God passionately. The opportunities to go to Canada, Thailand, Kenya, and South Africa were very much available but I kept telling God if it is not your will I don’t want to go. So none of these matured to anything. There was an opportunity to serve in the church I was then(Christ Embassy), we were signing up people on a new platform called Yookos and we did it in shifts, before and after every sign up we took time to fervently pray. On day 2 after the session, I remember I began to groan in the spirit and I clearly heard the Holy Spirit say I have created a new destiny for you. I went home so excited not exactly sure what it meant! The following day, I had a strong urge to make progress with school on my heart, as I took time to pray in the evening, I remembered ZCAS came to my heart. I went online and looked at their website and found a course I could study. I spoke to my parents about it and they were pleased. Two weeks later I was there. I finished my school registrations on a Friday and on Sunday I made sure I came to church. The only church I knew in Zambia was The Godlife Church. We were meeting in a venue in Waddington centre and I remember the welcome, and the warmth from everyone, Pastor gave me the opportunity to sit in the front. It was Partnership Sunday and I was convicted to give my partnership when praying which I did. At that time I wasn’t even sure that is where I should be but I kept going because my life was being transformed. It was until we had a chat with Pastor and he told me to speak in tongues about the decision I needed to make and I was welcome to stay. The conviction grew stronger the more I served in church, headed to instructions, and allowed myself to be trained into the leader we are today. Glory to God!
